Before anyone jumps down my throat, this is not FUN, but definitely a place of interest to us. Remember a few years ago, a man went nuts and gunned down a bunch of people in a McDonalds, in San Diego? This is where it happened. They’ve torn down the restaurant, and McDonalds have donated the land, for a park.

What do you call a nurse with dirty knees – the HEAD nurse.
This memorial is located in San Ysidro right next to the international border, San Diego this is a small college, Southwestern Community College. It was erected there to honor the victims of this horrendous tragedy. I had begun my nursing training at this site, and was honored to do so.
Brings to mind a recurring joke I have with an acquaintance who works as a triage nurse.
“Hi Sharon, how’s everything; still nursing?”
Kids are getting a little old for that, aren’t they!
