“Your site is my favorite and if anything should happen to me, I’ll haunt you if I’m not included!”
Tina Bockrath – Playboy Centerfold May 1990 and Findadeath pal

“I just wanted to say that I love your site.  Keep up the good work and to all the people that hate this site F*ck off.”  – Tom Delonge Blink 182

“Very interesting and well done. I hope when I die you can have my info on here.”
-Porn Star and Findadeath friend Frank Towers

“Considering that what I do is work with spirits, and that this is my primary service to Humanity (to work with those on the Other Side of the Veil) – this site is astonishing. Apparently its author gets a lot of flak for reflecting views and opinions some people simply don’t want to hear or have be known about their loved ones. This site is not a “gore-site” – unusual, really. This guy seems to have a healthy interest in death – I suspect he also serves as an “usher” somehow; my spirits that have fame karma seem less afraid to speak out because of this site. (Isn’t it weird how, after you’re dead, the subject of your own death can be taboo? – That’s a problem of the Living – not of the Dead.)” – Galadriel

“You are absolute scum, the only factor which stops me feeling angry is pity, you are NOTHING, and you always will be.  I hope you rot in hell motherfucker.”  – Libby Jagger

Ah, the charming Libby Jagger, teen supermodel, daughter of Mick, friend of Fifi Geldof, who is the daughter of the dead Paula Yates.

“Scott – how rude, vulgar, and totally in bad taste your unhealthy interests are!!” – John Lahr

I should clarify John Lahr’s statement.  John wrote the book, Prick Up Your Ears, about murdered playwright Joe Orton.  Joe lived very close to where I lived, in London.  Joe used to have sex in the men’s public toilet, and it was recently torn down.  I grabbed a tile from it and when I met John Lahr, I told him about findadeath.com, and asked him to sign the tile for me.  I asked him to write something funny, and that’s where the quote came from.  So don’t think John Lahr’s a bad guy.  He’s a good guy.  And he looks just like his dad Bert (the Cowardly Lion).

“I would love to have a man to man talk with you in person, that is, assuming you call yourself a MAN!! I don’t view you as a man!!”  – George Richey – Tammy Wynette’s husband”

George Richey is just a jerk.

I remember one evening, maybe in 2000, I used to listen to an FM talk radio station as I drove home from work. The DJ asked his audience what was the best website they’ve ever visited, not including porn or music sites. A guy called and mentioned findadeath.com. I kept that site in my head as I drove home then visited when I got home. I’ve been addicted to this site eversince. Keep up the good work!

I’d like to see more sports performers (football, baseball, wrestling, etc.) who have passed on included in the directory.

My brother and I were lovers of grave yards, cemeteries, hell anything death and death related. Any chance we had to go to a site where a horrific accident took place, or someone’s plot was located we were there. Anyway, in 2005 my sweet brother decided life was too much and drove in front of a semi truck. I miss him so much, and know he would have loved this website. I check it out for both of us. Thanks Scott, from one Detroiter to another.

    Hi Scott,
I am a long time deathhag. I have been following this site pretty much since it came on-line. I appreciate the fact that you keep the memory alive of people who most of the modern generations have never known but made an impression on popular culture in their time. You may push the boundaries of good taste sometimes but you never are crude and insulting. I think Death is just a hard topic for people in the 21st Century because we’ve distanced ourselves so far away from it. In the 19th Century, we used to prepare our own family members for the grave. Now we rely on strangers to do that. You bring us back to that connection and help us to celebrate the transition to the next life that death is. Thanks so much for all you do.

I’ve always wanted to embalm a stiff.
That’s always been my lifetime wish.
To drain their blood and casket the dead,
Is just something I can’t get out of my head!

SEE WHAT YOU’VE DONE TO ME!!

First of all, I like the new look of the site. I go on here periodically to see any new updates and it never disappoints. I’m glad there are others that find this subject as interesting as I do. I would love to come to CA and take a tour. I think it’s the only reason I would go back to LA, ha.

BTW, I can’t go on the site at work, which I just found out. I’m blocked. Ha.

    Thanks a bunch, Scott.

    Hi Scott,
Let me start by saying I love your site and your added comments always make me laugh. Some of your comments about your childhood sounds like you are around my age. If not, I sincerely apologize, I was born in 1965. Do you remember “The Banana Splits?” They were my favorite as a child. Have you seen the trailer for the movie where they kill people? It looks like a “5 Nights at Freddie’s.” I seen the trailer last night and thought there goes my childhood. My 16 yr old daughter thinks all the shows from my childhood were creepy. Bwt, I rented the movie “Tommy” (The Who), my daughter said that is where serial killers get their ideas. Lol.

Can’t wait to see more on here!
    Your fan,
    Wendy

Hello, I have enjoyed the content of your website for a few years now, and find the information fascinating. I was wondering if you could conduct research about Rob Pilatus of Milli Vanilli. I have attempted to gain as much knowledge possible online yet my resources are limited. I’d appreciate any feedback! Thank you!

Scott, I love your site! Very good read and informative! And hilarious! I like it when you put in a quote about what bizarre thing a famous person does and in parentheses you put ( as you do).

You make your factual stories about famous people hilarious! I watched your Dearly Departed tours on Jordan the Lions YouTube videos and I’ll have to take your tour if I ever come down to SoCal, keep these findadeath stories coming I enjoy them!

Hello! I just wanted to say that I love your site and have been visiting for many years. I’m also going to be making a YouTube channel called Faces of Death: Chicago, it’s going to primarily focus on graves with the deceased picture on their grave as well as some graves that are unique and don’t necessarily have the deceased picture on it. I’m going to also include a brief summary on some of the graves about the deceased life especially if they were young and if I can find out how they died. I would like to mention your website to give visitors to my channel a chance to see your awesome site and learn about the celebrities you have listed. Hopefully they can all become death hags! Thank you again for the excellent content and I hope to one day go on your tour. One last thing, Dolly Parton had obvious plastic surgery and I not know why some celebs like looking unnatural. What is your stance on plastic surgery on older celebs? Also a little fun fact, my cousin who is much older than me attended the same AA meetings as Chris Farley and said he was shy and kind of reserved but after the meetings he would take everyone out to eat. He even showed me 1 picture of them sitting and eating at a restaurant. Thanks for all you do.
    Big Fan!

    Hi!

I feel a bit cliche’, as I am not always the best of expressing myself in words, but I just absolutely love your site, and the YouTube videos!

It is also nice to see another not so typical gay guy! I am the only one of my friends, including my husband, who is into the slightly morbid!

When I am a bit stressed, your site is my go to for a little relaxation!

    Thank you!

Whenever the discussion of death comes up with my family and friends, this is the first – and mostly only – website I show them. I’ve loved this site for years, and have a soft spot for Scott Michaels, as he comes from the same area (Michigan and suburban Detroit area). Love the new look to the site, and thank you again for what you offer to Death Hags around the world! love you!
