Today Is The… Um.. Uh

Dearly Departed Newsletter – 04/26/2020

Hi Everyone,

Here we are, it’s already the bleenteenth of whenevruary.  Only 2 weeks to Christmas and Valentine’s Day was only yesterday.

Podcast.  Our Podcast.

Mike Dorsey and I have recorded a new episode of the Dearly Departed Podcast, this we’re tackling the film series of 007 James Bond. As always, you can listen for free wherever you find your podcasts, like iTunes. You can also watch us on YouTube now.  Because we’re responsible, we’re practicing social distancing and not recording the podcasts in the same room like we used to do.  You can watch us talking to each other on our computers from our respective homes. We’re just sitting there so it’s not as exciting as, say, a James Bond movie, but maybe it will feel like we’re all hanging out together. (Group hug)

NO Jean.

Some sad, but not unexpected news: The Jean Harlow Tour on June 7 has been cancelled.  Or at least postponed. We’re hoping that we’ll be able to reschedule soon … but we have no idea when that will be. We apologize for the disappoint and inconvenience but it’s out of our hands.

We’re not exactly sure when we’ll be up and running again—that’s up to “The THEM” — but we’re so appreciative of everyone’s patience and support.  Thank you.

Please visit my YouTube page – not just for podcasts, but for all sorts of video’s I’m uploading.  Like… Lucy’s CHEAP grave, or several interviews I’ve done with Marilyn’s embalmer, Joan Crawford’s grandson,  Mickey Rooney’s daughter, the kid who found the Manson gun… I mean, this stuff is fun.  It’s cheap sometimes, taudry, gossipy, trashy and history.   Here are a few, and there’s a lot more to come.  That’s what she said.

Love,
